"We held our wedding here in The Grove Suite on 10/9/21. We had quite a big wedding with 107 day guests and a few more for the evening, the room comfortably held us all without feeling over crowded. It was lovely for us to have the gardens where the children could run off and play safely.  We did all of the decorations ourselves and were able to set up the 12 guest wedding breakfast tables up the night before. Staff did our top table for us, and it looked amazing!  Our bridal suite was lovely, and a big space which was perfect for the morning of the wedding where there was quite a big group of us getting ready. (12 of us plus the 3 makeup and hair ladies and a photographer). Our guests commented on how big their rooms were. We cannot speak highly enough of all of the staff, from the first meetings and booking the wedding all the way through to the day. From the evening before to the day after and from the wedding coordinator Hayley to the bar staff. We couldn’t have had a better day, it was perfect, thank you. "

The Staff helped us thoughout the whole special day from support to treating us like royals. Richard, who looked after us, made sure that everything ran smoothly. He guided us and aided his team to delivering us the most magical experience we could ever have asked for. 

Samantha who was our Wedding Planner arranged for us to have a meeting, so she could understand what we needed and the result was flawless - just amazing how beautiful the venue looked. The team behind reception that day made sure all our guests felt welcome. We had several people behind reception running round after us and we could not have thanked you all for such warm welcoming you made us all feel. Our wedding reception at Sketchley Grange was perfect - there’s no other word. Through planning, Sammy was always on hand with quick answers to our (seemingly) never ending list of questions and last minute changes. All the staff, from the very beginning from the start of our planning to the wedding day - everything went without any problems. The food was fantastic and the hotel room was perfect.

We had the perfect day and it's with all the help from the staff. We have had so many compliments, from the food to the room and how professional the staff were.

It was run so well with no stress for us as a couple. The MC was fantastic, making sure we were fine and we were happy with what was happening and came to us with every step that was going to happen and what we would like to happen on the day. All the staff were fantastic.

We had the most perfect day, made even more special by the weather so we could get married outside which had always been a lifelong dream but not easy to find somewhere so beautiful in the area. We had stunning photos in the grounds and everything was picture perfect.

The day was made even better by Richard the master of ceremonies who was very tentative to our needs, as was our wedding coordinator and all the staff who helped and served us that day.

The food was outstanding and we had many compliments, especially about the Panna Cotta pudding which we’ll never replicate! Highly recommend Sketchley Grange hotel, fantastic all round.

We wanted to thank you so so much for everything you did for us. Helping us organise a day that we won’t ever forget. We also wanted to thank Richard. He. Was. Amazing. What a truly lovely and kind gentleman. He looked after me from the moment he arrived to the moment he left. He ensured our day went the smoothest it could be, and it went perfectly. His patience was brilliant.

I can’t say thanks to anyone enough at your venue. From start to finish, every single person made me and my wedding party feel welcome and so pleased to be at Sketchley. I booked our wedding 3 and a half years ago and Sophie is just out of this world - she is the most organised and friendly wedding planner. She made me feel at ease from start to finish. She even made an appearance on the wedding day, checking everything was running smoothly. For all she’s done, I’m forever grateful.

Richard (our Master of Ceremonies) - wow, he is above amazing. Richard went above and beyond, making sure everything ran smoothly and went perfectly.  I’ve never met such a hardworking and professional man in all my life.

Sketchley was the perfect venue for our wedding reception - the Grove suite was the right size and with its own bar for our guests to enjoy and an outdoor space, which we used for our photos. Guests commented on the great food - 'simple food done right'.

Sophie was helpful in the run-up to the wedding and our master of ceremonies was attentive and helpful both the evening before (allowing us to drop off lots of decorations and cakes in a spare room) and on the day itself. All round great venue and great service, thank you.
