Ivanhoe Trail Glenfield

Part of the Ivanhoe Trail cycle route and also the Ivanhoe Way long distance footpath as it passes through Glenfield.

The route uses an old railway line before passing into a wonderful corridor of wildlife in the shady wooded paths which are a joy to cycle.

Bicycle Trails around Hinckley

Near the hotel there are 5 different signposted routes connecting Hinkley with Barwell and Earl Shilton – perfect for exploring the local area and admiring the countryside.

There is also a special Hinckley rural cycle map which will give you loads of ideas for discovering more of the area, including riding to the battlefield at Market Bosworth.

You can also take on the 12.5 Mile loop which starts in Hinkley and takes you to Stapleton, Dadlington, Stoke Golding and Wykin

Go Ape Coventry

With 500 acres of Coombe Country park as a backdrop it’s time for some serious tree top fun with a 200 metre dual zip wire, a Tarzan swing and plenty of high rope antics to get up to.

There are different courses and challenges to enjoy, perfect for letting off steam!

Bosworth Water Park

If you want to splash out a bit, then Bosworth Water Park is the place to head with 50 acres of exciting things for all the family. 20 acres of water based fun including boating, fishing and windsurfing. Or maybe let the kids burn off some energy in the Pirate Adventure play area.

It’s good value too as a car can have up to 5 occupants and the parking fee includes access to the park grounds, picnic areas, beach and adventure play area.
